18 Mar WORLD PEACE VOLUNTEERS TO SEND VOLUNTEERS TO CANADA … TO UNDERSTUDY PEACE BUILDING
The world peace Volunteers (WPV), a civil society organization aimed at promoting world peace through advocacy will in June send a delegation of volunteers to Canada to learn and acquit them self with the Canadian Democratic training Programs such as peace building practice add conflict resolution cause. Because WPV prioritizes human right rule of law consolidation, entrenching of democratic values and good Governance through the observation of election, conflicts resolution etc. in Ghana and at the world at large, the volunteers will acquaint ,themselves with indigenous ,justice and healing, strategies for trauma awareness and resilience, restorative with youth and schools. The President of the organization Mr. Seth Osei Acheampong made the disclosure when he address the media at their headquarters in Accra last week . during question time the head of the Protocol Mr. Bernard Kofi Appiah inform the media that the volunteers are .expected in Ghana a couple of weeks with well equipped knowledge to embark on national Education tour in school and town hall meeting.
World peace volunteers have actively been involve in election observation around the world in country such as Ghana, Nigeria, Liberia, Romania, Etc. and have been accredited by UK Electoral commission for a period of 6 years that is from 2012 to 2016, to observe all the election in the UK. The volunteers are expected to be drawn mostly from Non Governmental Organization and the Media
